The Truth and The Man who Doesn't See It.

Details: 10"x10" watercolor on buff-colored textured paper, with a black cardboard mount to set the painting off overall size 12"x12" approx.

Inspiration: Often we are lost, utterly completely lost. But the The Truth, The Answer is as as large as life, filling the entire sky, but we don't see it. Why because we have turned our backs to the sun. Envy, frustration, cleverness, greed are the usual suspects.

The Mahabindu is deliberately alive with deep reds, indicative of how the truth is easy to find but difficult to grasp.

A black cardboard mount is added making it easier to frame.

Spiritual Effect: This painting is a good acquisition for those with power and influence. Reminding us each day to find the sun.

But this truth, this MAhaBindu is almost impossible to comprehend in our grey, doomed world...

Freedom or Paindom?

Details: 10"x10" watercolor on buff-colored textured paper, with a black cardboard mount to set the painting off overall size 12"x12" approx.

Inspiration:At the center of the painting is the red mahabindu. To the left the spirit soars. To the right a man curls in despair, in pain.

We all have knowledge planted deep within us, and in every religion. But will we choose freedom or paindom?

Spiritual Effect: A subtle, yet striking, thought-provoking painting that will daily remind the owner to choose freedom not paindom.

i Lean on The Sun

Details: 10"x10" watercolor on buff-colored textured paper, with a black cardboard mount to set the painting off overall size 12"x12" approx.

Inspiration:There are two simple steps on the journey of life. Find your sun. Lean on it.

Of course, finding the Sun is hard. And leaning on it harder as you can end up with singed shoulder. Still its better than the alternate. The Headless chicken one.

Spiritual Effect: Offers support

In this series, you are gently taught by The mahaBindu that whispers in the ears of your soul...

Harmonics {From The Sacred Flame Series}

Details: 10"x10" watercolor on buff-colored textured paper, with a black cardboard mount to set the painting off overall size 12"x12" approx.

Inspiration:Few have seen the truth. Fewer still understand it. Rarer are those who use it to escape...

To the painting's left, the red mahabindu shaded with black represents the knowledge, be it scriptural or experiential. To the right the sanskrit matra 'Nuh', {the bija mantra of the 3rd eye} represents understanding. Above we see a dark broken line through which a figure climbs through. Thus depicting the 3 levels of knowledge.

Spiritual Effect: Helps one find clarity with difficult questions.

Many of these meditative paintings exert a pranic influence, on the viewer's home and life... but ever so gently...

The Price of Knowledge

Details: 10"x10" watercolor on buff-colored textured paper, with a black cardboard mount to set the painting off overall size 12"x12" approx.

Inspiration:The Red Bindu represents supreme knowledge, but oddly it trails a black ugly tail. Only if we can deal with the other side of the bindu can we hope to cross the imprisoning roof.

Spiritual Effect: Makes us aware of the histories that rail behind us.

Their lyrical silence makes them a deep, meanigful gift, be it a Diwali one for yourself or a marriage gift.

Harmonics {From The Sacred Flame Series}

Details: 10"x10" watercolor on buff-colored textured paper, with a black cardboard mount to set the painting off overall size 12"x12" approx.

Inspiration:You have seen the truth. It is large as a setting sun. And yet not untouched by shadow. And definitely framed by confusion. The painting examines these ideas.  A quiet painting with hidden meaning.

Spiritual Effect: Rise above shallow vistas.

The 'Long Subseries' has a character of its own. The brush is noisier, the colour contrasts stronger. the works fit in and create a rich drama.

Earthing The Truth

Details: 10"x10" watercolor on buff-colored textured paper, with a black cardboard mount to set the painting off overall size 12"x12" approx.

Inspiration:To glimpse a great truth is good. But bringing it down to life is vital. Next to the Mahabindu are symbols that let the high and low converse.

Spiritual Effect: This meditative piece is ideal for those who have been working on there inner being for awhile.

Harmonics {From The Sacred Flame Series}

Details: Acrylic on heavy brown paper. size 40"x10"

Inspiration:We are many layered beings. Here we live in gravity, a place where things are planted in time. Our soul lives on another plane, more whole. We expect sometimes direct interventions. But sometimes the process is more bureaucratic. Slow tricklings from above, and painful climbs from below. And the psychic structure in which we live may resemble rickety century old buildings with curious fire escapes and secret ladders.

The height of the painting the contrast between the dull brown ground and the colors handled in two tones, dull browns and feisty crimsons make it a lovely addition to the home.

Spiritual Effect: Inner Conversation...

Gifts from High

Details: Acrylic on heavy brown paper. size 40"x10"

Inspiration:There are times during moments of spiritual blessedness when you feel like a child in a 'tall rain'. this painting is inspired by one such moment. When what you receive comes from a zone higher than God {If that's possible}.  The sound HA is potent, in it the high calls on the low.

Spiritual Effect: Helps One Receive...

Earth Reaches. Heaven Teases.

Details: Acrylic on heavy brown paper. size 40"x10"

Inspiration:There was a time I was undergoing a Kundalini awakening, fierce blazing red reached up. Helping me stay true and not run around stark, raving naked, was gentle reassurances, married to teasing winds that kept the flame ablazing.  The work is packed with psychic symbol. The Mahabindu, The Male triangle. The feminine v. And quiet humor.

Spiritual Effect: It has a centering effect on the psyche.

How much can earthy Eyes See?

Details: Acrylic on heavy brown paper. size 40"x10"

Inspiration:This painting is for those who have sense the many skies above them, the many levels, realms, planes... but as we look up we never forget that we see with an earthy mind, and through a mind tuned to gravity... So you embrace vaster spirits but smile gently at the neat descriptions of the hierarchies of angels...

Spiritual Effect: Nudges one to raise our eyes... to the heavens...
